Life arrives! For the first time, we see any sort of life in the water. Last week, saw a micro crab type creature in some grass I pulled up, but only 1 of them. Today there are many killies feasting on the rotting grass as it starts to sink. Mother Nature at work. The canal is alive!
The picture below is the canal this afternoon. Photo is deceiving as the neon glow is almost gone yet the photos shows it, must be sunlight refraction. The first half of the canal is clean, at least on the surface. This photo is the west end of the canal.
Some exciting news, with the entrance of the canal cleared out, the Swan family showed up for some dinner snacks! Regrettably, one of the 5 cygnets was not with the family. Hope he is OK, they have grown a lot in the week or so they were gone.
